So many times I look at someone's complete outfit and I think "I never would have put those colors together, but man that really works." I am not completely clueless when it comes to putting color schemes together, but I would not say I am a professional either. I believe I have lots of room to learn.
What do we all do when we want to know something? Well there are two options really. For one, PINTEREST. If you haven't heard of Pinterest by now then you are probably new to the internet in general. Pinterest gives us that love/hate relationship where we love all the pretty things, but we hate how it makes us feel like complete idiots about mostly everything. Okay so maybe I am over-exaggerating just a tad, but not much. Second thing we lean to is Google, then usually Google just leads us to Pinterest. It is vicious really. My point is that I found an abundance of information on color palettes.
The cool thing about this information on what colors work well together, is it can be applied to several areas of our lives. A few areas come to mind right off: coordinating an outfit for ourselves, decorating our homes, and coordinating family outfits for pictures. I know there are many more that you are probably thinking of right now.
Below is a link from one blog I thought was appealing and simple, which is a good combination in and of itself. Take your next outfit to a new level by placing some of these same colors together. Just work with what you already have in your closet.
